Our top "rookie" producers all agreed that social networking and the internet are a great sources of referrals. They shared their secrets to success. Real estate is a 24/7 commitment to perfection which includes sacrifice and focus. Goal setting is key and family participation a must!

What the “flock” was going on today??? The Country Club lawn was “flamingoed!”. This is just the beginning of a brand new fundraiser hosted by our local Women’s Council of Realtors, supporting the Fort Bend Women’s Center.  You don’t have to be a realtor to participate! Just call Lane Pearson and share the name and address of your target. Flamingos appear along with a note on how to get the “flock” out of there!! Beware, the “flock” can walk backwards and you may “flocked” next. Never fear, we gals think of everything, buy “flocking insurance” right away to prevent a” flocking “of your own front yard or business!!!

Our 50/50, not to take a back seat, made Nancy Marcis of Gary Greene Realtors $150.00 richer!! (maybe she should use it to purchase “flocking” insurance)

Theresa Fehr thanked everyone for their participation in our Cinderella/Cinderfella  prom dress drive which brought back memories of years gone by.  This program, started by Paulette Bray in 2001, has helped over 400 seniors live the dream of attending their prom by having the appropriate attire to wear.
She shared with us that an alarming number of students are homeless and an evening at the prom would never be possible without the generosity of others.  Prom dresses are just the beginning,  Robert Wolter told us that transportation, hair appointments, flowers and other needs can be provided for by  volunteers. Please go to Kroger and fill out a form, your grocery purchase can benefit the students.  A special thank you Men’s Warehouse, Sugar Land for dressing the guys.
To be a volunteer (a little or a lot) contact Robert Wolter @ rovertw@wcjc.edu

April is Basket Auction time!!! An annual event worth the wait!!! Don’t forget your checkbook and tell a friend!
